How does AI time entry handle unfamiliar oil-and-gas phrasing?

BTABS is tuned on landman vocabulary — curative, abstracting, running title, division orders, NORM, lease review. Anything it doesn't recognize surfaces for you to confirm before it saves, so the model never quietly invents a project.

What happens on a low-confidence parse?

Nothing is saved silently. If the parser is unsure which project, hours, or date you meant, it shows you the most likely guess alongside the fields it filled in. You adjust anything that's off and hit save — the model learns from the correction so the same phrasing is faster next time.

Do field workers need a phone signal to log time?

No. Entries you make on the lease or at the well pad queue locally and sync the moment you're back on Wi-Fi or cellular. Nothing is lost because you were out of range — and nothing is faked as logged when it wasn't.

How do invoices flow out of BTABS?

Approved timesheets roll up into a draft invoice with your logo, your rates, and the operator's billing format already filled in. You review, hit send, and the invoice goes out as a clean PDF by email — or through online payments on Pro if the operator prefers to pay by card.

Who owns the data we put in?

You do. Time entries, projects, clients, lease notes, and invoices are yours, full stop. You can export every row to CSV or PDF at any time, and if you cancel, we hand you a complete export on the way out — there's no retention hostage situation.

What do you do with our data — privacy / training?

Your time entries and client data are never used to train AI models — yours or anyone else's. The parser runs against your input, returns a result, and your data stays in your BTABS database. We treat operator and client information the way you'd want a working landman to treat it.

How is BTABS priced and billed?

Per user, per month, billed monthly or annually with no setup fee. Starter is $29/user/month and Pro is $79/user/month — both plans include unlimited projects and clients. There are no per-invoice or per-seat add-ons that surprise you at renewal.

Can we switch from spreadsheets or another tool?

Yes. Drop in a CSV of your existing timesheets and BTABS will parse it into projects and clients on import — no manual re-keying. Most crews are off their old spreadsheet within a week and have their first BTABS invoice out the same month.

Is there a contract — what happens if we cancel?

No long-term contract. Monthly plans cancel anytime, annual plans run through the term you paid for. If you leave, you get a complete export of your data and we don't keep hostage copies — your work leaves with you.
